I live in the most prosperous region of the country, in Vale do Paraíba, São José dos Campos, state of São Paulo. The city stands between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, near Mantiqueira Mountains and The Sea Mountains, by the beach.

My house is located far away from the downtown area, in a condominium. Before building the house, I searched for an architect who could plan a very elaborated project considering the downhill area with a 30 feet inclination between extremes. The result was surprising, with complete use of the area and a touch of modernity. The house was built in record time, nine months. I live a significant part of my days in this house, which I share with my family, the guitar and the Villa Lobos Conservatory. I have an appropriate place to work where I can concentrate in my music in a peaceful and sunlit environment, besides the beautiful landscape.

I prefer playing the guitar in the morning.

I’m married to Cleide, a Surgeon Dentist with specialization in aesthetics, and we have two children, Gabriel and Pedro, both at school age. We prefer balanced and varied meal with a salad, fruits, red and white meat.

I really appreciate prawns, filet au poivre and homemade bread, food that I usually help my wife preparing.

I like this family-cooking thing. A glass of cold beer is essential everyday during the summer or a glass of good wine for the winter. I am very fond of the Brazilian coffee, especially between classes. I try to keep a balanced life making music be my fuel.

The first hour  is very important to relax your hands. Move them slowly, open and close your hands to relax your muscles and provide some stretching.
